Postnatal Care

Postnatal care refers to the care provided to the mother and the newborn baby immediately after birth and during the first six weeks following delivery. This period, also called the postpartum period, is crucial for ensuring the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of the mother, as well as the healthy growth and development of the newborn. Proper postnatal care helps prevent complications, promotes recovery after childbirth, supports breastfeeding, and strengthens mother–baby bonding.
